Option 7

Hawaii

Jill and Susan have already been there. So girls, what was it like? Would you go again? What didn’t you get to see?

I’d like to go hiking in the beautiful green mountains and see some waterfalls. Leave the beach for the rest of the tourists. :)

Option 6

Take a Walk

Check it out at www.CountryWalkers.com

Worldwide walking adventures

75 worldwide walking itineraries

Walk the trails the locals walk

I chose to picture Ireland, but there are many options.

Here’s a sample of the itinerary:

DAY 1: Meeting in Shannon. Dysert O’Dea; 2 miles, easy. Cliffs of Moher visit. Poulnacapple; 5 miles, easy to moderate

DAY 2: The Burren; 6 miles, easy to moderate. Optional afternoon walk; 3 miles, easy

DAY 3: Colman Kilmacduagh; 2.5-6.5 miles, easy to moderate

DAY 4: Killary Harbor; 6 miles, easy to moderate. Kylemore Abbey; 2.5 miles, easy

Option 5

How about a trip hiking in the Grand Canyon?  If we can’t get permission to stay down in, we could at least hike down for a couple of hours and hike back out for the rest of the 8 hours.  We would just need a place to stay on the rim.

How about staying on the sky walk?

Option 4

Iguazu Falls

Almost two miles along the rim. TWO MILES! 275 different waterfalls!

Located on the Argentina and Brazil boarder. You can walk along the catwalks right by the waterfalls and take a boat ride around the bases of the various waterfalls. There is a hostel not too far away that might make an affordable place to stay. Feeling adventurous? To bad we don’t know anybody who’s been there.

Now that’s some rushing waters!

Option 3

Glacier National Park

Thanks for the Rickety suggestion. :)

The pictures speak for themselves. All I can say is WOW!

Option 2

Portland, Oregon

Home to the International Rose Test Garden, the Peninsula Park Rose Garden, Ladd’s Addition Garden, Portland Japanese Garden, and others.

There’s other stuff to see to. Why don’t you look it up? Come on ladies, we need more options. Post something. :)
