The weather was the best for the race on Saturday. It was in the 60′s and cloud covered and a great course that ran up the side of the mountain. Scott ran for Derek who was too sunburned. I was supposed to keep Ashley going but turns out she and Scott finished to race 6 minutes ahead of me. They are great runners! Ashley even won some socks in the random drawing. But the best part of all was the raspberry ice cream at the end of the race for all the participants.
I think my running days are over unless someone can talk me into another one. Five 5k’s this summer seems like a good number.
