Hurray, we met our goal and ran the 5K! I got a side ache the 2nd lap so I slowed down but it didn’t go away. I ended walking to get rid of it. I was hoping to run the entire time but it was hot. The best thing about this is that we set a goal and we did it! Three years ago we ran a 5K on the 4th of July. My time was a minute better then but this year I was able to run most of the time. Two years ago I ran for a couple minutes then walked…etc. I was so tired at the end and worn out the rest of the day. Today I feel fine so I must be in better shape. I couldn’t have done it if it weren’t for Jill, Shauna and Melissa keeping us training and making sure we did it even when we didn’t feel like it. The buddy system is the way to go if you need help to achieve a goal. Thanks everyone!!!
I agree, the buddy system is the only reason I kept trying. You might want to fix your title spelling unless you want to just add a z to the end so it says waltz-it challenge.
